I am very happy for images of your finished stationery to be shared with friends and family and posted on social media. Please credit me and link back to my website or corresponding social media page. Please note that only finished invitations should be shared and that any draft artwork I send you is for consultation purposes only and not for publication. Reproduction of stationery or any individual aspects of artwork within the stationery is not permitted.
Any publication of text that is not authored by myself or the customer (i.e. song lyrics, hymns, poems, quotes) is on the understanding that the customer has obtained the relevant permissions for its use. Submission of such texts for use in your stationery will indicate your compliance with this policy.
Differences in colour
Please be aware that there may be subtle differences between the colours you see on your monitor and the actual colour after printing. This can be due to a number of things from how you perceive a colour, dependent on the brightness and sharpness of your screen, to very slight discrepancies between the colour on the digital file and the printer’s interpretation.
Photographs of all of my existing designs are unedited and give a really good representation of the colour of the finished product.
I have done my best to give an accurate impression of my invitations on my website but I understand that there is nothing like the real thing. If you would like to order a sample pack then please let me know which invitations you’d like to get a closer look at and I would love to post them out to you. Sample packs are 50p for each set of invites you wish to see plus £1 for postage and packaging.
Spelling, grammar or content discrepancies
Once you decide to go ahead, one of the first things we will do is work together to agree on the content of your invitations. You will be responsible for providing correct spelling and grammar and I would recommend writing all of your content in a word processor and running a spell-checker, making sure to proof-read all names, places and contact information. I will, of course, flag up anything I think looks slightly unusual. Prior to printing there will be a further opportunity to approve your designs and I will ask you to sign-off on the content of your invitations. If spelling, grammar or content discrepancies are discovered after printing any reprint will be at the customer’s expense.
Proofs and revisions
With existing designs I will ask you to fill in a content form that will include all of the information and wording for your stationery. If you have chosen a customisable invitation style we can also have a colour consultation should you wish to change the colour to suit the theme of your special day. Once we have a good idea of the colour I will create a test page for your approval and we can tweak the colour if we need to. After that I will complete your full invitation and send you the digital file for you to review. If, at that point, you wish to make any changes to the content I am happy to make these and come back to you for final approval. After this point, any additional revisions that you require will incur a further charge.
For bespoke designs I will ask you to fill in a content form that will include all of the information and wording for your stationery. You might have a very clear idea of what you would like your stationery to look like but, if not, I would be very happy to chat with you and work with you to find a style that suits you. The process of getting a clear brief in place will involve a lot of dialogue between us and I will be able to show you some examples of what I think might work. When we’re happy to go ahead I will design a page of your stationery to showcase what the feel of the full invitation pack will look like. This would be the perfect time to let me know if there are any changes that you would like me to make to the design and overall style of the invitations. I will then implement these changes and design the rest of your invitation which I will send to you for your approval. If you would like to make further changes that’s fine and I will send you a checklist to help you with your suggestions. We can repeat this process up to three times until you are happy with the finished product. Any further changes you would like to be made after this will incur a further charge.
Existing designs 2-3 weeks, bespoke designs 2-3 months. Please note that the timeframe given on my website is an estimate only and can be affected by workload. I will endeavour to give you an accurate timeframe for completion of your stationery before taking your deposit. Payment of your deposit will denote acceptance of this timeframe. I will keep you updated about the progress of your stationery throughout the process of its creation. You will be notified of any unforeseen circumstances that could result in production delays.
All deliveries will be tracked and insured to ensure their prompt and safe arrival. You will receive tracking information so that you can monitor the arrival of your stationery. Please note that I cannot accept responsibility for delivery delays that are out of my control due to inclement weather, postal strikes or other extenuating circumstances.
Damage or faults
Customers will need to inspect their stationery and notify me of any damage incurred in transit within 48 hours of receipt of your delivery so that I can rectify any problems.
Once you’re ready to order your wedding stationery I will take a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking
Your remaining balance will be payable after you sign-off on the final digital proof of your designs. Printing of your finished stationery will only be instigated on receipt of payment.
